RETAIL THEFT >> Two males who stole $223 worth of goods from Dick’s, 2514 Moreland Road, at 12:42 p.m. July 19 were stopped after exiting the store and arrested, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole a pair of Amiri sweatpants, valued at $1,190, from Got ‘Em Kicks, 2500 Moreland Road, at 3:42 p.m. July 19, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two males stole $250 worth of merchandise from Dick’s, 2514 Moreland Road, at 3:54 p.m. July 19, and fled in a vehicle toward Easton Road, police said. Two other males stole multiple items from the store at 6:14 p.m., police said.

ROBBERY >> A male who made $365 worth of fraudulent purchases with a stolen credit card at Bloomingdale’s in the Willow Grove Park Mall at 7:13 p.m. July 21 was confronted when he attempted to exit the store and struck a security guard in the face, before being arrested by Abington police, police said. The male had made fraudulent purchases with a stolen credit card earlier in the week, as well, police said.

DUI CHECKPOINT >> A total of 1,298 cars passed through a DUI checkpoint held in Abington from 9 p.m. July 21 to 3 a.m. July 22; 18 vehicles were pulled over and 11 arrests made, police said.

THEFT >> An unlocked bicycle, valued at $800, was reported stolen at 4:18 p.m. July 22 from the lobby of Burlington Coat Factory, 323 Old York Road, police said. Surveillance video showed a juvenile male take the bike, police said.

ASSAULT/ROAD RAGE >> A motorist reported at 4:47 p.m. July 22 the driver of a vehicle who had been impatient for him to turn left onto Edge Hill Road from Mount Carmel Avenue pulled up and blocked the entrance to a parking lot across from the church, where the victim had pulled in, police said. The driver exited his vehicle, yelled at the victim and pushed him to the ground, where he broke his wrist, and the driver then fled, police said.

SHOOTING >> A resident of the 1100 block of Clemens Avenue reported at 10:12 a.m. July 23 that three bullets, believed fired the night of July 22, had struck the victim’s vehicle, hitting a tire, the radiator/engine and front windshield, police said. Investigation continuing.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole three Prada perfume gift sets, valued at $480, from Macy’s in the Willow Grove Park Mall at 2:27 p.m. July 23, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two females were stopped at the Willow Grove Park Mall at 5:49 p.m. July 25 after stealing $258 worth of goods from Bloomingdale’s, police said. They were also in possession of items stolen from Dick’s Sporting Goods and all merchandise was returned to the two stores, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two males stole multiple items from Burlington Coat Factory, 323 Old York Road, at 8:42 p.m. July 25, police said. A Jenkintown police officer spotted one of them at Old York Road and Washington Lane and detained him, but the second male was not located, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two females stole items from Ross Dress for Less, 911 Old York Road, at 9:18 p.m. July 25 and left in a vehicle near the Walgreens, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 31-year-old man of Sharpnack Street, Philadelphia, was charged July 17 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.

ID THEFT >> Richard Debonis, 58, of the Bronx, N.Y., was charged July 18 with false ID to law enforcement and felony counts of identity theft and forgery in the 800 block of Old York Road, police said.

TRESPASSING >> A 64-year-old man of Grovania Avenue, Abington, was charged with criminal, defiant, and simple trespass July 14 in the 1100 block of Grovania, police said.

EVADING ARREST >> A 28-year-old man of Alcott Street, and 26-year-old man of Montagu Street, both of Philadelphia, were charged July 15 with evading arrest or detention on foot in the 2000 block of Rubicam Avenue, police said.

UNAUTHORIZED USE >> A 26-year-old woman of Arch Street, Norristown, was charged July 15 with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of an automobile in the 2000 block of Rubicam Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 31-year-old woman of Roselyn Street, Philadelphia, was charged July 26 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.

ROBBERY >> Giovanni Theodore, 25, of Brinton Street, Philadelphia, was charged July 21 with felony counts of robbery, forgery, access device fraud, unlawful use of computer, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities and a misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property in connection with an incident in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.

THEFT >> A 25-year-old woman of Nolen Road, Roslyn, was charged July 21 with access device fraud, receiving stolen property and theft in connection with an incident in the 1500 block of The Fairway, police said.

THEFT >> Several boxes of candy, valued at $55, were stolen by a male at 1:03 a.m. July 18 at Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, police said.

BREAK-INS >> Three vehicles in the 8000 block of Cheltenham Avenue were broken into overnight July 17, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT >> A 38-year-old male of the 3000 block of North 8th Street, Philadelphia, was cited for disorderly conduct after officers observed a physical fight between him and another person at 10:08 a.m. July 18 at North Front Street and Ashbourne Road, police said.

GUN STOLEN >> A firearm was reported stolen at 2:22 p.m. July 18 from a vehicle at Central and Jefferson avenues, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> An 18-year-old Philadelphia woman of the 8200 block of Fayette Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft at 3:34 p.m. July 18, after taking items from a store in the 1000 block of South Easton Road, police said.

ASSAULT >> A customer descried as a Black male, age 20-30, with a beard and mustache, wearing a white T-shirt and black jogging pants, slapped an employee on the face at XO Smoke Inc., 1000 S. Easton Road, at 7:23 p.m. July 18, after not being allowed to return a hookah without a receipt, police said.

ASSAULT >> An employee of Fresh Grocer, 1000 S. Easton Road, allegedly pulled a switch-blade knife on a delivery person at 10:56 p.m. July 18, police said. Investigation continuing.

AUTO THEFT >> A gray Hyundai Sonata, PA tag HYH120, was stolen overnight July 19 from the 1700 block of Graham Lane, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 43-year-old male of the 7000 block of Forest Avenue, Philadelphia, who stole $50 worth of goods from Old Navy 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 10:16 a.m. July 20, was taken into custody after he stole $300 worth of goods from the same store July 21, police said. He was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 55-year-old man of the 4900 block of Baynton Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after he stole detergent from Fresh Grover, 1000 S. Easton Road, at 2:26 p.m. July 20, police said.

THEFT >> Two packages were stolen from the front porch of a home in the 1900 block of Graham Lane around 5 p.m. July 20, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported July 21 an unknown person hacked the victim’s American Airlines account and stole 18,992 miles, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported July 21 an unknown person opened a Venmo account using the victim’s identity, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported July 21 being a victim of fraudulent checks in the amount of $4,4500, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> An attempt was made to steal a Hyundai Sonata from the 1900 block of Humphrey Merry Way overnight July 21, police said. A wallet and groceries were stolen from the vehicle, police said.

TARGET >> A male stole six bags of merchandise from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 11:52 a.m. July 22 and fled on foot, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A 2012 Kia Forte was found at 7:25 a.m. July 23 at the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 bock of Limekiln Pike with the passenger side window smashed and the steering column damaged police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A silver 2018 Hyundai Elantra, PA tag KSL0328, was stolen between 6 and 7:50 a.m. July 23 from the 700 block of Thomas Avenue, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A 2016 Kia Soul was found with the passenger window smashed and steering column damaged at 10:54 a.m. July 23 at the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A gray 2018 Hyundai Elantra was stolen overnight July 22 from the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

THEFT >> Four vehicles parked in the 8000 block of High School Road were found broken into at 12:09 p.m. July 23 with items and cash missing, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A red 2017 Hyundai Elantra, PA tag JMZ3792, was stolen overnight July 22 from the 1200 block of Brookview Place, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A 2011 Kia Sorrento in the 1400 block of Beech Avenue was found at 1:53 p.m. July 23 with a window smashed and steering column damaged, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> An attempt to seal a Kia Optima from the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike was reported at 7:13 p.m. July 23, police said.

THEFT >> A bike was reported stolen from a vehicle found with a back window broken in the 500 block of Church Road, after two males were seen fleeing in a black sedan at 2:51 a.m. July 24, police said.

THEFT >> A group of males were seen breaking into several vehicles at 3:35 a.m. July 24 in the 8000 block of Old York Road, where multiple thefts from autos were reported, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2018 black Hyundai Elantra, PA tag KSV2985, was reported stolen at 7:13 a.m. July 24 from in front of a home in the 7900 block of Montgomery Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $50 worth of goods from Wawa, 200 S. Easton Road, at 7:58 a.m. July 24, police said.

THEFT >> Items were taken from a vehicle found with two windows broken at 9:38 a.m. July 24 in the 500 block of Stahr Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Three people stole $75 worth of goods from Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 12:55 p.m. July 24, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A vehicle at Walden and Arbor roads was broken into overnight July 23 and the steering column was damaged, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> An attempt to steal a Hyundai SUV by shattering the rear driver side window in the 1100 block of Stratford Avenue was reported at 4:07 a.m. July 25, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A vehicle parked on John Russell Circle was found by an officer at 4:29 a.m. July 25 with the driver side door open, the passenger rear window broken and the steering column tampered with, police said.

ROBBERY >> Serena Addison, 39, of the 500 block of Church Road, is being sought on charges of conspiracy, harassment and criminal mischief, after she and an unknown male allegedly broke her landlord’s glasses and forcibly stole his money and his 2020 red Hyundai Elantra, PA tag MBG8239, at 11:12 a.m. July 25 in the 500 block of East Church Road, police said.

THEFT >> Jewelry was reported stolen at 12:11 p.m. July 26 from a vehicle in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A Black female with a long ponytail, wearing a black shirt, black tights and sandals, took items from Old Nay, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 4:45 p.m. July 26, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $179 worth of goods from Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, at 4:59 a.m. July 27, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A white 2016 Chevy Equinox, PA tag LFD9641, was stolen overnight July 26 from the 7800 block of Penrose Avenue, police said.

THEFT >> A box of merchandise valued at $2,199 was reported stolen at 12:35 p.m. July 28 from in front of a store in the 100 block of Glenside Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male and female stole five bottles of alcohol, valued at $130, from Wine & Spirits, 123 S. Easton Road, the night of July 27, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported July 28 two bank accounts were fraudulently opened in the victim’s name, police said.

BURGLARY >> Two dirt bikes were reported stolen at 3:49 p.m. July 28 from the garage of a home in the 7700 block of Washington Lane, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Five juveniles stole about $50 worth of goods from Wawa, 200 S. Easton Road, at 6 p.m. July 29, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A blue 2014 Hyundai Sonata, IA tag HLB708, and a gray 2018 Hyundai Elantra, PA tag KTT1096, were stolen overnight July 29 at the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

THEFT >> A guitar and amplifier were stolen from a vehicle in the 7600 block of Brookfield Road overnight July 29, police said.

ASSAULT >> A 44-year-old man of the 2000 block of Mather Way, Elkins Park, was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and evading arrest on foot at 3:30 p.m. July 30, after assaulting a female, who went to the hospital with a head injury, at the residence, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported July 30 a fraudulent Verizon account was opened in the victim’s name, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A light skinned black male, 5 feet 9 inches, wearing a white tank top and black pants, stole $450 worth of goods from Snipes 2401 Cheltenham Ave, at 3:37 p.m. July 30, police said. The same male then stole $3,118 worth of goods at 3:54 p.m. from Snipes, 1000 S. Easton Road, and fled in a white U-Haul box truck north of Easton Road toward Route 309, police said.

THEFT >> A 45-year-old Philadelphia man was charged July 31 with theft and receiving stolen property in connection with a July 24 incident, online court records show.
